Topological Superconductivity in Hybrid Semiconductor-Superconductor Nanowires
Abstract
We report experimental evidence of topological superconductivity in InAs/Al hybrid nanowires with epitaxial interfaces. Tunneling conductance spectroscopy reveals zero-bias peaks consistent with Majorana zero modes persisting over a 200 mT field range at 20 mK. The soft gap hardness exceeds 0.97 and local density of states profiles are characterized by transport measurements. These results constitute a significant step toward topological qubit implementations.
